Spanish Language Immersion in La Paz
Located on a large bay on the Sea of Cortes, La Paz is 137 miles by road north of the southern tip of the peninsula.
Looking out from the downtown core you see the Mogote Peninsula with its many varieties of birds. Traveling north by water takes you to the wilderness islands of El Espiritu Santo, La Partida and Los Islotes.
The islands are destinations for scuba divers, kayakers, fishermen, snorkelers, hikers and beach lovers. Ecologists work to keep these islands pristine so existing flora and fauna survive and so visitors can learn about the sea and enjoy the white sand beaches, the multi-colored cliffs and the sea life.
La Paz is one of the favorite beach areas for Mexican and foreign visitors. Its international fishing tournaments are famous. Scuba diving, yachting, sailing and ecotourism trips to the islands enchant the visitors but it is the beaches that keep people coming back.
Although situated on a lovely long beach, the best beaches for swimming and sunbathing are found north of the city on the road to Tecolote. Playa Palmira, Playa el Coromuel, Playa el Caimancito, Playa del Tesoro, Playa Pichilingue, Playa Balandra, Playa el Tecolote and Playa el Coyote are havens for the beach lover.

The school is located 1 block above the Malecon (boardwalk along the Bay), 7 blocks from the city center in a modern building.

You have the following course options:
4 lessons daily: (20 group or 10 private lessons per week)
:: We accept all language levels / ages 16+
:: Unlimited course length
:: A "lesson" lasts 1 hour
:: Course runs Monday through Friday (mornings)
:: Course materials are included
:: Placement test & orientation on first day of course
:: Maximum 8 students per group class
Please note: This course must be booked outside of two weeks to your start date.

Please Note: You will let us know if you wish to book host family or not, and any special requirements, but this will be paid for locally. The cost of this is $225 USD per week for 1 meal daily or $250 USD per week for 2 meals daily.

After class & weekend activities
Every week there are planned excursions to different tourist attractions and cultural places of interest around the area. For each excursion there is a tour guide who gives a thorough explanation of the site and a presentation to the students.
