The building is a 4-minute walk from Hakata Station, the biggest train station in Southern Japan and the main station of Fukuoka City. The Hakata Station area has some of the top attractions in the city, including several giant department stores, the Canal City entertainment complex, and a host of beautiful shrines and temples.
The building is roughly twice the size of the current GenkiJACS location. The building has 14 spacious classrooms, all with external windows. The entire first floor is used for the large student lounge. The second floor houses the teachers’ room and one classroom. Floors 3 through 5 are classrooms, and the 6th floor has administrative offices.
The main improvement over the current school is the size of classrooms – each classroom is much bigger than our current school’s rooms, and will be a more comfortable environment for learning, with much more natural light.
