"Our stay with our host family in florence Italy was a fantastic experience which really allowed us to enjoya more intimate glimpse of Italian family life than might otherwise have been possible. There were many memorable conversations in Italian around the kitchen table about cooking, art,politics and economics, literature and films.We made friends for life. Services provided were very professional and informative. The information provided by the brochure and staff was accurate and useful. The follow up by the staff both here and in Italy was impressive. I highly recommend this experience. Living with an Italian family opened up oportunities to broaden and deepen my knowledge of the language and culture. Overall, a marvelous experience. Initially, I was a little apprehensive thatt living with a family might be confining or uncomfortable. This was not the case. In fact, the opposite was true. On top of that, my Dutch improved so much in 5 weeks. I was glad that I had a base knowledge of the language, but the intense, personal lessons and 24/7 conversation was exactly what I needed. It was extremely tiring and stressful at times, because I set high expectations for myself and I wanted to do well. But I had the best experience of my life and absolutely adore my teacher and her family. This definitely wasn't the last time I will see them! The staff was always very helpful and the information given to me was very detailed. My accommodation was wonderful. The location was beautiful, and I was able to learn the Dutch train system so I could visit my family in other parts of The Netherlands. My host family was so warm and loving and accomodating that I felt at home right away. They always included me in everything and made me feel a true part of their family."
