Our school on the Guanacaste Coast is one of your best beach options available and a better option than Tamarindo (which it is compared with) which we feel is not the ideal place for learning Spanish due to the constant influx of tourists or the comparable safety or cleanliness found in Flamingo.
Despite its small size, Flamingo offers many activities, including parasailing, canoeing, out rigging, surfing, swimming, horseback riding, kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling, and checking out the animals at nearby wildlife refuges! For those students who would like even more cultural experience, the towns of Potrero and Brasilito, just north and south of Flamingo, have an authentic Costa Rican feel.
Our school is housed in a beautiful, spacious building within its own private garden which offers an outdoor pool. Close to the marina, the beach and village are less than a 10 minute walk.
