Class Schedule
Lessons take place from 8.30 - 9.45; 9.55 - 11.10; 11.40 -12.30; and 12.40 -13.30 on Monday to Friday. Students take lunch from 13.30 - 14.30 and in the afternoon (13.30-19.00) they have access to the language multimedia laboratory which offers the use of Internet, a language lab, videos, and course/exercise books of grammar and vocabulary.
You should bring a dictionary, notebooks and colored pens. It is useful to have 2 notebooks, one for new vocabulary, and one for the exercises in class. Textbooks and other teaching materials are provided, but it is advisable to have a good system of keeping your notes together.
Activities & Excursions
Every week there are planned excursions to different tourist attractions and cultural places of interest around the area. For each excursion there is a tour guide who gives a thorough explanation of the site and a presentation to the students.
Leisure and sports courses: organized by the Migros club school of Lausanne. You may join in any sports and leisure courses organized by the club school for local people. This allows you to put into practice your French in an authentic context. Furthermore you'll have the chance to meet people living in Lausanne who share your interests (photography, dancing, cooking, etc.) Timetable and prices according to the prospectus available at the school.

At the weekend many students can arrange to take optional excursions to local cities or local places of interest. Geneva, Montreux and the castle of Chillon, the cheese dairies of Gruyère, Evian, its water springs and its casino, taking the cable car up to the highest peaks of the Alps, trips across Lake Geneva on board vintage paddle steamers, visits to the region’s many festivals: jazz, dance, classical music, folklore, cinema…
