MONTREAL QUEBEC - FRENCH IMMERSION

Class Schedule
The First Monday: all students are expected to arrive at the school by 8:30.

Upon arrival, all students will take a comprehensive placement test. The placement test is comprised of a written and oral test. After the placement test, students will be formally registered and will attend an information session about the school's services as well as a guided walking tour of the school surroundings. Both the standard and intensive classes will begin the next day at 9:00.

The Rest of the Course: Classes will take place between 9:00 and 12:30 Monday to Friday.

You should bring a dictionary, notebooks and colored pens. It is useful to have 2 notebooks, one for new vocabulary, and one for the exercises in class. Textbooks and other teaching materials are provided, but it is advisable to have a good system of keeping your notes together.

Activities & Excursions
Every week there are planned excursions to different tourist attractions and cultural places of interest around the area. For each excursion there is a tour guide who gives a thorough explanation of the site and a presentation to the students.

Our optional cultural and social activities could include trips to sports or games, movie nights, museum and gallery visits, local festivals, walking tours of the Old port, the Biodôme and Notre-Dame Basilica, hiking in summer and cross-country/ downhill skiing or snowboarding in winter.

At the weekend many students can arrange to take optional excursions to local cities or local places of interest. Some of the most popular weekend trips include: the Eastern Townships (80km east of Montreal, on the border with New England). Picturesque countryside dotted with 19th-century villages settled by Loyalists from the United States who refused to rebel against King George III. Quebec city is also only 2 hours by bus / train.

Booking this vacation is easy and we accept most major credit cards. We require a deposit of $300 and a completed booking form. After checking availability we normally confirm a booking within 24 hours.
