Activities & Excursions
Every week there are planned excursions to different tourist attractions and cultural places of interest around the area. For each excursion there is a tour guide who gives a thorough explanation of the site and a presentation to the students.

Our optional cultural and social activities could include trips to local galleries, museums, Opera House,Theatre of the Palais de Chaillot, a walk along the Promenade des Anglais at night then a night out in Nice with your other class mates, tour the Cathedral, Cimiez Museum Of Archeology, visit the Fine Arts Museum / Matisse Museum or why not spend the afternoon on the beach people watching.

Nice has a total of 19 museums and galleries, 32 classified historical monuments and 300 hectares of parks and gardens, woodland and green areas in addition to 150 ornamental lakes and fountains.

The only way to get to know the real Nice is by strolling through the ochre colored streets listening to the "Niçois" speaking their own language (Nissart) and by tasting their savory cooking, One musn't miss the onion, anchovy and olive tarts called Pissaladières, the vegetable and tuna sandwiches known as Pan Bagnat, the Salade Niçoise or the famous Ratatouille (tomatoes eggplant and zucchini squash stew). The main cooking ingredient is olive oil ot course, and many of the dishes are garnished with the succulent little black Nice olives called Caillettes.

At the weekend many students can arrange to take optional excursions to local cities or local places of interest. Some of the most popular weekend trips include: a train journey to Monte Carlo and Monaco, take the bus to Roquebrune village (famous for its fairy tale castle), a trip to Antibes and Cannes (famous resort towns) or even a weekend in Italy.

Booking this vacation is easy and we accept most major credit cards. We require a deposit of $300 and a completed booking form. After checking availability we normally confirm a booking within 24 hours.
