We suggest that you bring at least 5 or 6 photos as there will be many instances when you will need to supply a photograph of yourself. For example, you will need identification photos to apply for a foreign registration card, and to register at the school.

The school provides all teaching materials, but you must bring paper, pens, and a bilingual dictionary

Activities & Excursions
You will also have the opportunity to enjoy numerous excursions and tours of the city and its surroundings. In the afternoons, there are 4 hours of cultural/social activities per week. The weekend excursions offers a chance to visit mountain or coastal areas.

Afternoon activities could include: tea ceremonies, Kimono clothing, calligraphy and origami (paper-folding), sporting activities, cookery courses. Lectures are in Japanese or English - so you need a good basic knowledge of English.
