ANTIGUA GUATEMALA - SPANISH IMMERSION

Class Schedule
Classes take place between Monday and Friday from 9:00 to 12:30 for the 4 lessons daily. The additional lessons for the intensive program take place after a short break for lunch.

Please note that during the summer months, the course timetable may be adjusted and some programs may be taught in the afternoons. In such a case, the cultural activities would take place in the morning, rather than in the afternoon. Your instructors will keep you informed.

We offer 13 levels from beginner to advanced level and six more levels from high-advanced to superior.

You should bring a dictionary, notebooks and colored pens. It is useful to have 2 notebooks, one for new vocabulary, and one for the exercises in class. Textbooks and other teaching materials are provided, but it is advisable to have a good system of keeping your notes together.

If there is no Spanish course according to your level, a course will be opened for you and you will have individual classes until other students with the same level of Spanish arrive. The price of these individual classes will be the same as that of the group classes.

Activities & Excursions
Each week, the school will provide between 3 to 4 activities for the students accompanied by various staff members who are more than familiar with the wide variety of cultural sights that Antigua has to offer. These activities will typically include nearby village excursions, sporting events, museum visits, and city tours. The staff also provides one night per week dedicated to a night into the town.

The north has a hot, tropical climate with maximum rainfall between May and September. The coastal regions and north east are hot, with a dry (November to April) and rainy season, with temperatures averaging 68°F (20°C).
